Calling all bibliophiles and world's fairs aficionados! January's book club pick, Margaret Creighton's The Electrifying Fall of Rainbow City: Spectacle and Assassination at the 1901 World's Fair, dives into the gripping tale of the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York. Creighton explores world's fair grandeur, highlighted in our own World's Fairs: Visions of Tomorrow exhibition, alongside three headline-making scandals that rocked the 1901 fair.

Drawing on themes from recent exhibitions and facilitated by chief librarian Frank Luca, Beyond the Pages is a series exploring novels through the lens of the collection.
