The Wolfsonian is an ideal venue for hosting special events of all kinds, from corporate luncheons and meetings to large receptions, lectures, and beyond. The museum offers several different spaces well-suited to a range of events, all with state-of-the-art audiovisual capacity.

Event Spaces

  • Lobby | 2,076 sq ft

    Accommodates:
    Up to 80 for a seated lunch or dinner and up to 180 for a cocktail reception

    Features:
    Ideal for cocktail receptions, formal dinners, and intimate weddings
    High-vaulted ceilings with ornamental stonework
    Elegant Art Deco fountain flanked by a site-specific Lawrence Weiner installation

    Please note that the lobby is only available to rent after hours.

  • Auditorium | 1,130 sq ft

    Accommodates:
    Up to 80 seated auditorium-style, 75 for a seated luncheon or dinner, and up to 150 when customized as a lounge/VIP area

    Ideal for screenings, lectures, intimate performances, board meetings, staff retreats, press conferences, and lounge/VIP setup
    Fully customizable space

    Please note that the auditorium is not available when being used for exhibitions.

  • 2nd-Floor Vestibule (private space) | 997 sq ft

    Accommodates:
    Up to 40 for a seated lunch or dinner and up to 50 for a cocktail reception

    Ideal for small cocktail receptions and private dinners
    Art and objects from the collection, including furniture from the First-Class Milan Train Station Lounge
    Fully customizable space

    Please note that large-scale collection furniture may be removed for a fee to create additional space.

  • Director's Conference Room (private space) | 641 sq ft

    Accommodates:
    Up to 28 for seated luncheons or dinners

    Ideal for board meetings, staff retreats, press conferences, small cocktail receptions, and luncheons and formal dinners (28 max)
