Research

Offering an annual fellowship program, short-term visits from scholars, and an ever-growing digital catalog, The Wolfsonian is a valuable resource for researchers around the world. You can explore the collection in two ways:

Visiting the Museum

Scholars wishing to conduct research at The Wolfsonian are encouraged to apply to our fellowship program, which accommodates on-site study for periods of up to one month. For information on shorter-term research visits, email research@thewolf.fiu.edu; if you are a student or faculty member at Florida International University, contact academic@thewolf.fiu.edu.

Researching Online

The museum's digital catalog, accessible to all online and continually expanding, contains thousands of records for Wolfsonian collection pieces. Browse by keyword, country of origin, creator, subject, and more, and check back frequently for new entries.

The Wolfsonian belongs to the Association of Research Institutes in Art History (ARIAH), a consortium of museums and other institutions that support advanced research in the visual arts.
