Accessibility

The Wolfsonian is committed to providing an inviting and accessible experience for visitors of all abilities.

  • We provide complimentary admission to visitors with disabilities and their accompanying caregivers.
  • Trained service animals are welcome. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted inside the building.
  • Closed captioning is available in the galleries.

We may be able to offer other services with advance notice, including American Sign Language interpretation. Contact education@thewolf.fiu.edu or 305.535.2662.

Parking

  • Visitor Drop-off/Pick-up

    Individual visitors may arrange for temporary drop-off or pick-up at the City of Miami Beach Municipal Lot P13, located at 1000 Washington Avenue, directly across from the museum.

  • Accessible Parking

    Visitors with valid disabled person parking permits can park for free at all on-street meters, in municipal surface lots, and in city garages, plus there are dedicated ADA parking spots between Washington and Collins Avenues on both 10th and 11th Streets. See our Transit Guide for locations.

Getting Around the Museum

  • Visitors can bring their own wheelchairs, walkers, or mobility scooters.
  • A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ask at the box office upon arrival.
  • All public floors of the museum are accessible by elevator. The museum lobby is on the 1st floor with direct street access.
  • Accessible, single-stall restrooms are located on the 1st floor (in the Design Store) and 3rd floor.
