Youth + Family

The Wolfsonian is fun for all ages! Discovering Design brings together The Wolfsonian's educational programs for youth, families, and K–12 students across Miami-Dade County. Through gallery experiences, hands-on making, and school partnerships, participants learn to look closely, ask questions, and use art and design to better understand the world around them.

 

For Families

Discover the museum together through free programs and self-guided experiences designed especially for families.

  • Free Family Days

    Bring your #WolfCubs to learn and play with local artists on select Saturdays and Sundays. Every Free Family Day explores a different theme and includes a hands-on art-making activity plus a musical performance, gallery tour, or game. Check our calendar for upcoming events.

  • Gallery Guides

    Take a self-guided tour of our exhibitions! Whether you're looking for creative creatures or becoming building detectives, each family gallery guide leads to unexpected discoveries. Ask our friendly visitor services staff for the latest guide when you visit.

For Schools + Teachers

Bring The Wolfsonian into your classroom, or bring your classroom to The Wolfsonian. Our K–12 offerings range from one-time museum visits to multi-part programs that use art and design to encourage close looking, critical thinking, and creativity. All field trips, either teacher-guided or led by a Wolfsonian educator, are always free of charge for Florida public schools.
