Calling all bibliophiles! April's book club pick is inspired by The Big World: Alternative Landscapes in the Modern Era. Journey into Lynd Ward's Vertigo: A Novel in Woodcuts, a wordless novel that explores the struggles of the Great Depression through engraved cityscapes and industrial scenes.

Drawing on themes from recent exhibitions and facilitated by chief librarian Frank Luca, Beyond the Pages is a series exploring novels through the lens of the collection.
