Calling all bibliophiles! January's Wolfsonian book club pick is torn straight from the sensational headlines found in our library installation, HEARST: Lampooning the King of Yellow Journalism. Join us to pore over Chanel Cleeton's The Most Beautiful Girl in Cuba, a fascinating tale inspired by the real-life events of legendary Cuban heroine Evangelina Cisneros, newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst, and the battle for Cuban independence.

Drawing on themes from recent exhibitions and facilitated by chief librarian Frank Luca, Beyond the Pages is a series exploring novels through the lens of the collection.
