If you've visited Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Greynolds Park, or Matheson Hammock Park, then you've enjoyed amenities made by young men enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), a work relief program during the Great Depression. Get out your shovels and dig around in our collection of rare CCC photo albums, newsletters, and more to learn about this New Deal agency and its vast impact on the landscape, both locally and nationally. Your Into the Stacks foremen for this shift will be Bookleggers Library director Nathaniel Sandler and Wolfsonian chief librarian Frank Luca.

This program is presented in conjunction with Sandler's Knight Foundation-funded project, Crypt Cracking.
