Into the Stacks: Heroines

From goddesses to factory workers, powerful women make frequent appearances in Wolfsonian holdings as striking reminders that patriarchy has never gone unchallenged. Led by Bookleggers Library director Nathaniel Sandler and featuring The Wolfsonian's own Sandra Hazim and Carlton Maloney, this evening of super women and the people who love them will spotlight our collection's heroines and show how they resonate with both ancient myth and today's pop culture. (On top of all that, you won't want to miss the chance to see Maloney's personal collection of Wonder Woman memorabilia . . . plus his tattoo!).

This program is presented in conjunction with Sandler's Knight Foundation-funded project, Crypt Cracking.
