Archi-Tectonics NYC, LLC is driven by a unique research-based design process, one that has led to new insights about producing architectural objects. Learn about this approach from Winka Dubbeldam, Archi-Tectonics founder and co-author of the new book Strange Objects, New Solids and Massive Things, which embodies the non-standard way the firm's projects—including the recently completed Asian Games 2022 Eco park and stadiums—come into being. Dubbeldam will explore a selection of some of these processes, experiments, and works, followed by a discussion with Claudia Busch, associate teaching professor of Architecture at FIU. Copies of the publication will be available for purchase at a special signing after the talk.
