Join us as curator Lea Nickless highlights the 20th-century Celto-Breton autonomist movement, Seiz Breur. Celebrating Breton culture, Seiz Breur brought together artists, designers, architects, and writers to create new work that embraced indigenous language, costumes, and crafts. Lea will review her selections from The Wolfsonian's significant holdings of Seiz Breur furniture, ceramics, drawings, prints, and library materials—perhaps the largest collection outside of France!—to reveal modern evidence of Brittany's unique design identity.
