Discovering Design Free Family Day: Art Deco Friezes

Date: Saturday, November 2, 2019
Time: 12–3pm
Location: The Wolfsonian–FIU @ 1001 Washington Avenue

This fall, The Wolf is throwing a full afternoon of frieze-related activities tailored just for little ones. Stop inside to design your very own frieze sculpture, then pop outdoors for a short walking tour of our Art Deco neighborhood led by a Miami Beach Girl Scout troop. At story time, we'll learn more about simple geometric friezes in Isabel Hall’s Counting Colorful Shapes and end the day with a pose-perfect game of "frieze."
