The work of Mark Hampton, the architect who transformed The Wolfsonian's historic building into a museum, is deeply rooted in modernist principles, yet looks and feels effortless. That apparent ease was hard-won, built on careful attention to detail, proportion, climate, light, and restraint. In this personal tribute, architect Rene Gonzalez reveals the complexity behind Hampton's seemingly simple architecture.

Organized with Miami Design Preservation League and presented as part of Art Deco Weekend.

$15, $10 for members and FIU faculty/students (free for Director's Circle) | Tickets
