Potter-in-Residence

Come and watch some of Miami's top ceramic artists at work on the pottery wheel! Inspired by Roberto Lugo's Street Shrines exhibition and his dazzling array of ceramic work, we're hosting a potter-in-residence from the Ceramic League of Miami in our streetside Bridge Tender House (Josephine Baker Pavilion) each Friday evening in February. Pass by along Washington Avenue for a close-up look at throwing and get a chance to try your hand at the wheel*—plus, stop inside our Design Store, where DJs Yung Algebra (Feb 3, 10, and 24) and John Jolt (Feb 17) will be spinning on the ones and twos.
