Take a virtual tour of the Saarinen House, Finnish architect Eliel Saarinen's American architectural masterpiece! Built on the campus of Cranbrook Academy of Art just outside of Detroit, the Art Deco structure was designed using Arts and Crafts principles. Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research's associate curator Kevin Adkisson continues Art Deco Weekend with this rare opportunity to see inside the jewel-box home, guiding you through its incredible domestic spaces and introducing you to the creative Saarinen family (Eliel, his wife Loja, and their son Eero) who shaped them.

Organized with Miami Design Preservation League and presented as part of The Wolfsonian's Mark Mamolen program series on American homes, investigating how the design of living space powerfully expresses individual personality and social values.
