RED in Black+White: Aelita, Queen of Mars

Take a rocket trip to Mars and bask in the weird and wild visuals of this 1924 silent sci-fi film by director Yakov Protazanov, the first in our series of Soviet film series with the Miami Beach Cinematheque. First whet your aesthetic appetite with a guided tour of Constructing Revolution: Soviet Propaganda Posters from Between the World Wars at The Wolf at 5pm, then catch the screening across the street at the Cinematheque at 6pm.
