The Frost Art Museum and The Wolfsonian–FIU invite you to a family-friendly day of art, music, and community inspired by the Frost's exhibitions Invitation to Openness and David C. Driskell & Friends: Creativity, Collaboration, and Friendship. Enjoy hands-on experiences including an artist-led workshop with Morel Doucet, interactive storytelling and a musical performance by Mr. Jams, and other creative activities for all ages, including printmaking and make-your-own-instrument stations. The afternoon culminates in a lively community drumming experience led by MiamiBloco celebrating the vibrant rhythms of Afro-Brazilian samba.

This collaborative family day is supported by the Batchelor Foundation, the Tamara L. Harris Foundation, the Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Family Fund, the Seligman Family Foundation, the Green Family Foundation, the FIU Center for Children and Families, the Children’s Trust Parent Club, and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.
