Critical Encounters: An FIU Student Showcase
Date: Thursday, February 19, 2026
Time: 6–9pm
Location: The Wolfsonian–FIU @ 1001 Washington Avenue
Celebrate FIU students in a pop-up installation featuring artists in professor Sandra Ramos’s BFA Thesis II course. Working across printmaking, photography, and other media, the student-artists respond to Wolfsonian collection objects by creating new works shaped by their own personal interests and research. Students will be present to share insights into the creative process, and the Wolfsonian Library will showcase the collection materials that informed their work.
Funded by Student Government Association (SGA) and open to all FIU students and the general public.
