This collection speaks to a period when companies such as General Electric and RCA commissioned talented designers to give exciting form and vibrant color to the products rolling off their assembly lines. Be prepared to leave with a new sense of wonder about the marriage between technology and aesthetics, as phrases like "never to be repeated" and "only one known to exist" echo in your head.
