After Christopher Norwood and Shawn Christian spoke here in October about their exhibition, Silhouettes: Image and Word in the Harlem Renaissance, we heard the same thing from many people: "you have to do this again." So we are! Norwood, Silhouettes curator and founder of Hampton Art Lovers, and Christian, curatorial consultant and FIU English professor, will dive into some of the featured visual and literary works and shed light on one of the most pivotal cultural movements in American history. Drop in early for a 6:15pm Miami Beach Culture Crawl tour of the galleries, and stay late for a meet-and-greet with the show's makers.

Co-sponsored by FIU's College of Arts, Sciences & Education (CASE) and Department of English.
