Originally constructed as a storage facility in 1927, The Wolfsonian's building has seen its fair share of valuable holdings, from furniture, jewels, and tapestries to automobiles and the Duchess of Windsor's furs. Over time, it became founder Micky Wolfson's favorite place to house his beloved collection before he purchased the historic Mediterranean Revival-style structure, converted it into a museum, and opened it to the public in 1995. In this live virtual experience, take a tour like never before with Micky as your host along with research curator Lea Nickless and exhibition designer Richard Miltner. Together, our trio of guides will paint a rich picture of the building's past, sharing tales from its earlier days and showing off rare architectural features such as the original vault doors and Miami Beach's oldest operating freight elevator.

Free and open to members; to become a member, join online or email us | RSVP for the Zoom link
