Exhibition design is no easy feat—it requires spatial reasoning, aesthetic judgment, and understanding how museum visitors will circulate through galleries. But there's another ingredient, too, that always informs The Wolfsonian's designs: intensive research about the objects displayed and the contexts in which they were created and used. In this member-exclusive talk, Wolfsonian chief designer Richard Miltner and Marianne Lamonaca, former associate director and chief curator and newly appointed FIU Humanities Edge director, will take us through beloved past exhibitions and reminisce about collaborating to bring curatorial narratives to life.
